We are an independent bookstore in Barnsley town centre. We aim to provide something for everyone, with new and bestselling authors alongside classics, and eclectic sections across fiction and non-fiction. Our dedicated children’s space has books for all ages.

As well as the newest releases and best-selling titles we provide variety in stock, so that you will find something different to inspire and enjoy: whether that is new authors and writing or titles from specialist and independent publishers. The Book Vault is open six days a week, from 9.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday, and closing at 4pm on Saturday. Contact us to order books for collection from store. We also offer mail order service with home delivery options for those who live nearby.
